Wardrobe Wednesday: Shop My Closet for Good

I’ve been making a “giving suggestion” every day as part of my participation in:

…and Giving Suggestion #4 is: Sell clothes that no longer fit or that you no longer “need” (ha! : )), and give the money to a worthy cause.

As you probably already know, I’m working hard to promote this month’s giveaway (if you haven’t already, go enter!) which not only features FIVE pretty incredible prizes but also benefits a really great ministry.

(NO donations necessary to enter!)

So, in keeping with the theme of the giveaway and in an attempt to practice what I’m preaching in today’s “giving suggestion,” this week’s Wardrobe Wednesday is going to be a bit different.

I’ve been squirreling away clothes that are too big or that I bought because I thought someone else might enjoy them or that just weren’t completely “me” anymore for a while now with the intent of doing a “shop my closet” event, but I’ve just never found the time or the motivation.

Until now.

Today, I present you with:

Shop My Closet for Good

Here’s how it works. If you see something you like, shoot me an email at blogabbie{at}gmail{dot}com (reference the item number). All items start at $5 (though you can “donate” more if you want), and shipping is free. Every item you buy counts as one entry into the giveaway, and every single dollar you pay will go toward our goal to build the PCM children in Uganda a new classroom. Plus, your money will also be matched, just like every other dollar donated to PCM during the month of November.

If I get emails from multiple people about the same item, the item will go to the highest “bidder.”

All items are in very good to excellent condition, and if there are any particular things of note, I’ll mention them.

Make sense?

You buy cute clothes for cheap. The money gets matched and goes to PCM. I pay for shipping.

Feel free to ask questions in the comments section.

Here we go!

(Just as a point of reference, I’m between 5’6” and 5’7”).

And there you have it!

I’ve actually got quite a bit more where these came from (including some pretty fabulous shoes that may go on the docket next week), but that’s all for now.

Let me stress again, folks, that every single dollar from these sales will go toward this month’s giveaway goal of raising money for a new PCM classroom. If you haven’t yet, be sure to enter.

And remember, all you have to do is follow and comment. Giving is purely optional!

See you tomorrow for:

five days five ways | 5 Things Thursday

…the linky party where you share a list of 5 things on your mind (preferably with pictures).

This week’s suggested theme is:

P.S. If you missed my showing you Della’s ladybug invitations that I made for her upcoming 1st birthday party, here’s a sneak peak:
