This week has flown—and I mean fah-LOWN—by. It really does feel like every morning I woke up and it was already a new day. Oh wait. I guess that’s how life is supposed to work, huh? It just felt like it was doing it so much more quickly than usual this week!
In other news, I have started a boot camp class in my living room. The participants are kind of short. And they tend to take potty breaks (their words, not mine) in the middle of the toughest exercises. But I think they have real potential.
Of course, a few of my recruits just lie around cracking jokes at our expense.
The nerve.
Let me know if you’d like to join up. Membership dues include {but are not limited to} date night babysitting, diaper-changing duties, and the complete and utter surrender of your dignity (because there’s no guarantee that tooting and burping will not be a regular occurrence from your fellow boot camp participants).
ANYhoo, feel free to message me if you’re interested. If I can whip that ragtag group into shape, I guarantee I can help you.
Of course, then I segue from that inspirational plug into featuring Texas Sheet Cupcakes (Which I am definitely going to make, by the way. Texas Sheet Cake is pretty much a good reason to live all by itself. But in cupcake form? I might have just died and gone to heaven).

Thanks for the party Abbie!!!
Exercising with kids is hilarious! I’ve been exercising before they get up lately, but when I’d exercise with them up, my oldest would get indignant with the exercise trainer person. She’d say, “I don’t want to lay on the floor. Why is she bossing me around?” 🙂
Thanks for the party, Abbie! Your bootcamp looks pretty fun!
Thanks for hosting Abbie – and thanks for reminding me of the bootcamp with short friends days. My twins were also greatly amused by these efforts. Hope you have a super weekend!
